The Ateneo Alumni Association Canada Hosts its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament in Pickering, Ontario.
The AAAC gave numerous awards at this dinner event.
The winners were: Low Gross(Men): two teams tied for this
prize, Art Robson, John Osbourne, John Chadwick, Peter
See and Manny Moscuzza, Rocco Dicamillo, Mike Flamia
and Joe Coniglio; Low Gross (Ladies): Mila Dulatas and
Kelly Bath; Low Gross (Mix): Jon Amante, Chito
Navarro, Emmanuel Fara-on and Reizhelle Narareno
Fara-on; Closest to the Pin (Men): Art Robson; Closest
to the Pin (Ladies): Elizabeth Simmonds; Longest Drive
(Men): Robert Tortipilo; Longest Drive (Ladies): Mila
Dulatas. A silent auction was also held, together with
raffle prizes and complimentary gifts provided to all
of the participants.
The tournament's success is attributable to the many
months of intensive preparations by the Golf Committee
headed by its tireless chairman, Robert Chua, its
various members Leon Aureus Jr., Jose gonzales, Jr,
Reynaldo Reyes, Malou San Andres, Luth Penaflor,
Bernie Sychango, and perennial AAAC supporter, Mila
Dulatas. Proceeds from this very successful endeavour
will bolster the AAAC's scholarship funds, provide for
more college scholarships at various Ateneo schools in
the Philippines.
The AAAC held its second annual golf tournament (also
called the Fr. Bonoan Memorial Scholarship Golf
Tournament) at the Seaton Golf and Country Club in
Pickering, on June 13, 2001.
After the tournament, a dinner was held at the
Waterfront Fine and Casual Dining Restaurant, also in
Pickering.
